EastsideFlii was born in New Orleans on 08/17. He currently resides in Houston, TX, and is the Father of one son. Being raised by his grandmother, he was not allowed to listen to rap growing up. Since the age of 5 years old he has been in love with music, one of the first songs he ever listened to was Gladys Knight's "Midnight Train". At the age of 7, he began singing in the choir at New Hope Baptist. Eastside Flii plays the drums (started in junior high), Baritone, and Acoustic Guitar. He refers to his style of music as Trap R&B which is a unique cross between trap music and R&B. His music can be compared to Ottis Redding who told his story of the streets through his music. Some of his musical influences are Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Franks, Mystikal, Master P, Hot Boys, BTY Youngin, DaWoogDr, Charmaine Neville, Aaron Neville & Fat Domino. EastsideFlii currently has the single "Came Through'' and is working on his newest project "Last Days Of Black Crime Vol 2'.
